|
This course will help you to develop your personal and professional practice in business. It’s practically based and grounded in your own experience of business organizations, whether as an employee, customer or stakeholder. You’ll learn by sharing your experience, analyzing it in new ways, and widening the experience you have. Key course themes – ways of thinking about organizations; theory and practice; and diversity and complexity – are explored through texts about organizations and their environments. The course focuses on a number of issues such as enterprise, globalization, regulation, and corporate social responsibility to illustrate the challenges facing business organizations in the twenty-first century. In line with the ways that the new technologies are rapidly changing the environment in which businesses operate, the course is offered mainly online and develops your skills in working in this medium. |
